During a training exercise, Morpheus responds to Neo when he asks, “are trying to tell me I can dodge bullets?” Morpheus says, “no, I’m telling you that when the time comes, you won’t have to.”
Another comes from the marital arts training in the virtual dojo when Morpheus asks Neo, “how did I beat you?” Neo says something like, “you’re too fast.” And Morpheus asks, “do you think that faster or stronger has anything to do with my muscles in this place?
When Morpheus takes Neo to the roof for his first jump he tells him, “you have to let it all go Neo, fear, disbelief. You have to free your mind.”
Whether we choose to shift our patterns (sort of) actively like Morpheus helped Neo in doing, or passively inside the meditation and healing of our own thoughts and heart, the only way out from under this glass ceiling we’ve created is by changing our minds, (read: neural networks).
My friend Laura Bruno frequently writes about this in her blog. One of her most recent posts about Off-loading Karma and Cellular Memory speaks to the recent eclipse times as being a “window of opportunity to off-load a bunch of old junk, especially past life junk.”
Have you off-loaded any junk in the last couple weeks? Did you know you could off-load this junk?
Eileen Caddy, in her weekly guidance from the inspirational collection, “still small voice within,” speaks to this in a similar yet different way. The channeled communications she received were over a period of 40 years before her death in 2006, just before the speed of our “shift” stepped up exponentially. Hers was a different time with different energies, yet her words softly encourage us to explore the possibilities–to at least introduce ourselves to the part of us that hangs onto the old–in preparation for the next wave.
Well, the way I see it, we have been in that sea for a while now. Early waves in the set are about ready to crash on the shore; that is if they haven’t already! It’s nye time for the next wave, and definitely time to move out of the old neighborhood.
Take a walk; don’t pack any bags; free your mind!
You, by your thinking and attitude, can determine all the conditions of your life and living. Therefore let no fear, no worry, no hatred, no jealousy, no sorrow, no grieving, no greed enter into the realms of your thoughts, and be so filled with love, joy, true happiness and freedom. When your mind is in the right state so will your body be free of all pains and aches and you will find a new zest in life and life will take on a new meaning. Those things which have bound you like chains and held you down can be broken right now when you really want them broken. But are you sure you are not holding on to them for some reason or other, perhaps to draw attention to yourself, or for sympathy or self pity. Look within your heart, deep within it, and see what the motives are. Only you and I know your true motives, no one else does. Therefore only you and I together can do something about them. Eileen Caddy was one of the original founders of Findhorn in northeast Scotland.
Investigative reporter Jon Rappoport speaks less gently and very poignantly about how we have become trapped in a world of victim mentality, run by those who need victims to survive and filled with willing participants. In one of his latest posts he talks about how psychiatry and big government are in bed together planning the demise of the human psyche and individual freedoms.
If we follow what is handed to us, what is disguised as gifts for the people, we could find ourselves tumbling in and pummeled by the waves. We could find ourselves further under that glass ceiling, way down at the bottom, in a sea of apathy.
Again, whether we approach cultivating this freedom from our bad habits (addictions) actively or (somewhat) passively, the time is here to free our minds. Can you see into the windows of opportunity that are offering us the true gifts? Will you choose to do more than just look through them? Will you open them? Will you go through?
